Program
The Nurse Continence Advisor (NCA) role is an independent
practice model which focuses on conservative methods of managing
incontinence. It was established in 1997 as a continuing education
certificate program at McMaster University School of Nursing using
a self-directed, problem-oriented approach to developing evidence-based
practice in continence care. It is the only North American university-based

SCA/NCA Scholarship
The purpose of this scholarhip is to provide support to Registered
Nurses entering the Nurse Continence Advisor Distance Eductation
Program at McMaster University. A $1200 CD scholarship will be awarded
